Tuition  In Detail...

Tuition is required to reserve the students placement in class. Our Tuition operates on a monthly, contracted tuition payment plan. Tuition is due on the FIRST day of every month. A grace period will be given until the 5th day of the month. Tuition must be in the tuition box no later than 8:00 p.m. on the 5th day of the month. On the 6th day a $15 late fee will be accessed to all late accounts. On the 10th day of the month any student  with a past due account balance will not be allowed to participate in class and a $5.00 per day fee will start on all past due accounts until their account is brought current, or arrangements have been made.  There is a mail slot located in the front door for any tuition payment.

Tuition is due each month whether the student has attended his/her scheduled classes.

Tuition Contract...

High Energy Dance Academy is a contracted tuition Studio. All Parents/Guardians must sign a Tuition contract to enroll in our studio. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Ellen Aker at 625-3333 and leave a message or email her directly at : highenergydance@yahoo.com

Missed Classes...

Students: NO Refunds or credits for missed classes. If your child is sick or was unable to attend his or her scheduled class, they may make-up the class if we offer a class that is skill level and age appropriate for the dancer. High Energy Dance Academy does this as a courtesy to our students, so please do not ask for a credit or refund.

Instructors: A make-up class will be offered to a class if an Instructor had to cancel due to illness or inclement weather. Dissemination of information for the Make-up class dates and times will be the responsibility of the Instructor. Instructors have 3 months to make-up any class that may have been missed.

Refunds And Credits...

Tuition and Registration fees are NON-REFUNDABLE.

If you pay for classes that the student does not attend or withdrawals from a class, tuition and registration fees will not be refunded for any reason. Tuition will NOT be pro-rated for any reason. This includes private lessons!

Our dance year starts on September 12, 2011 and will end with our annual performance in June. Rehearsal and Performance are included in the total lessons.

1 Class                 $45.00  per month

2 Classes             $75.00  per month

3 Classes            $105.00 per month

4 Classes            $135.00 per month

5 Classes            $160.00 per month

Unlimited-Individual    $150.00 per month

Unlimited-Family         $275.00 per month

*These fees include family/multiple class discounts. Private Lessons  NOT included. A 5% additional discount will be given for all tuition paid in full.

CLASS FEES IN DETAIL..............

Class Fees are determined by the students desire on how many classes they choose to take.

EXAMPLE: The student has chosen to learn TAP.  Your fee for the month is $45.00.

**Whether there are 4 or 5 weeks that fall in that month, your tuition is still the same.

Multiple Class Discounts:

EXAMPLE:  The student has chosen to study TAP and JAZZ.

2 classes  @ $75.00 per month.

The same student is enrolled in a TAP and JAZZ class. EACH class meets one time a week for an hour. Your tuition cost for the month is $75.00.**

Family Discounts:

EXAMPLE:  Family Discounts work the same as multiple class discounts except each child* is enrolled in their own class. 

2 classes   $75.00 per month.**

One child* is enrolled in a TAP class, and then another child, is enrolled in a JAZZ class.  Your tuition cost is $75.00 per month.

* To receive a Family discount, each child/student must be from the same family unit.

**Whether there are 4 or 5 weeks that fall in that month, your tuition payment is still the same. 

Boogie Babies, Twirlin Tots, Kids In Motion, and Beginning Ballet meet for 45 minutes each week. All other classes are 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours a week. 

Attendance

Throughout the season, students may miss classes due to illness or for a variety of other reasons; we also know that vacations are an important family function. We ask that you consider your students dance class with responsibility. Please call the studio if your dancer is not going to attend class so the Instructor can plan accordingly.

Dance class is an important part of their weekly life. One of our goals is to teach children the importance of responsibility. It is important for each and every dancer to know that dance is a commitment. When students come to class on a regular basis, their level will improve. This will give them confidence. Confidence will in turn give them power to complete their goals. They will learn about responsibility and commitment while working as a team. If they do not attend class on a regular basis they will always be trying to catch up. This will discourage them from wanting to attend, and create frustration. Other team members may also get discouraged, as well as the teacher who will have to repeat instruction.

Vacations... If your family is taking a vacation or the student will be absent for more than a week, please let the Instructor know prior to the students absenteeism so we can plan accordingly.
